Forensics, the study and practice of public speaking and debate, is a speech and acting competition. Students have the option to compete in one of six categories, ranging from Extemporaneous Speaking to Dramatic Performance. Mercy students compete against other schools in the Detroit Catholic Forensics League, rotating from school to school on Saturdays between January and April.
