The Mercy Mimes (est. 1991) is a unique and wonderful extracurricular program distinctive to Mercy. Performing entirely without speaking, mimes are skilled in improvisation, articulation, and facial animation. You can recognize a mime by their white face paint, black costuming, and red accents. Members audition for their place on the mime troupe. Opportunities include performing repertoire routines at formal shows, improvisational crowd work at philanthropic events, and sketch writing for the senior showcase.
