SUMMER CAMP
PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER CAMP:

June 19-22 and June 26-29 9am - 3pm
Performance: June 29 7pm
The Mercy Performing Arts Camp is designed to make your child feel like a Broadway star!
Students will be immersed into the world of musical theatre as they sing, dance, and perform the day away. All skill levels welcome!
Emphasis will be given to proper vocal technique, stage presence, acting technique, and musical theatre style choreography. This is a great opportunity for young performers to work with Performing Arts professionals. Open to students entering grades 6 - 9 in the fall of 2023, this camp will promote confidence, social skills, and collaboration.
Camp will culminate in a one night only performance of Broadway Jr. Revue: Pure Imagination! This will take place in Mercy High School’s intimate drama studio space, and will include musical numbers from Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen as well as other Broadway musicals like Annie, Elf, and Suessical. Students will get the opportunity to perform solos, in small groups, and in large ensemble pieces.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing, suitable for dancing and movement. Shoes should be closed toed. Keep in mind that some spaces at Mercy High School are not air conditioned.
What to Bring:
Campers must bring a refillable water bottle, lunch, and snack.
Performance Costume:
Camper must provide black pants (leggings are fine), shoes, and socks. Campers will be given a camp shirt.
